Art Gallery Room Reservation Policy
The Willard Straight Hall (WSH) Art Gallery is first and foremost a space designated for the display of artwork. WSH Student Union Board (SUB) has the authority to schedule arts shows in the Art Gallery throughout the year. Priority will be given to the Dean of Students staff and student organizations.
Groups wishing to use the Art Gallery must request a reservation a minimum of ten (10) working days before the event using the university scheduling system. Office of the Dean of Students groups may reserve the space up to one year in advance. Other groups may reserve the space up to one semester prior to the event.
The Art Gallery is also available for meetings. However, in an effort to preserve the artistic integrity of certain displays, the artists, in conjunction with the Art Gallery staff, may request that no meeting be held in the Art Gallery during a show. Requests to use the space for meetings during such shows will be denied.
The Art Gallery staff reserves the right to cancel meetings/events scheduled in the Art Gallery three (3) weeks or more prior to the meeting/event in order to accommodate shows of this nature. The Student Union Board will not reimburse groups for expenses incurred prior to or after the cancellation notice.
